Reach is a four week dance program for students (ages 13–18) that and combines technical training, making dances and performing at day camps and for the public.
Under the guidance of professional dancers and college interns, sixteen teen-age apprentices create a 45 minute dance performance and go "on tour"
to day camps in the Greater Boston area. Students will hone their technical, performance and choreographic skills during the first two weeks; for the next two weeks, the "company" will perform and lead workshops at a dozen Associated Grantmakers’ Summer Fund sites. In addition, there will be master classes, an evening performance for the public, and an informational session on preparing for college admission.
Reach is looking for students who are proficient in at least one style of dance, willing to learn other styles, and are cooperative learners. Interest in choreographing is welcome but not required.

The 6.2-mile AIDS Walk starts at the Hatch Shell in Boston’s Back Bay. The Walk raises money and awareness for HIV prevention, advocacy and service. Boston is the site of the first ever AIDS Walk in the US and continues to be the largest fundraising event for AAC, raising around $32 million since it’s inception.

Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk (fund raising walk)
The Out of the Darkness Overnight is a suicide prevention fundraising walk benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.afsp.org).
The Overnight is an 18-mile journey through the night - from dusk until dawn - in order to bring suicide out of the darkness and into the light.
For this inspirational event to be a success, we rely on the time and talents of so many people who take on the roles of walkers, crew, and volunteers.
A suicide attempt is made every minute of every day, but you can begin the process of eradicating this statistic by signing up today!!
This is the first year we will walk in Boston and we look forward to having you with us!!

Thompson Island 4k Trail Run (fundraiser)
The Thompson Island 4k Trial run is the most unique run in Boston. Runners enjoy a trip to Thompson Island, a short 2.5 mile (4k) trail run around the island beautiful 204 acres, a BBQ dinner w/free beer. All participants must be 21 years or older. Companies are encourage to compete in the Corporate Team Challenge as a part of the 4k Trail Run.
