As another thoroughfare in Boston, Huntington Avenue runs southwest from the center of the city through Fenway, Longwood, and Mission Hill. It begins in Copley Square, a hotbed for shopping and businesses. As you continue on Huntington Avenue, you will travel through what is commonly referred to as the "Avenue of the Arts", which is dubbed as such because of the several museums located on the main road (Symphony Hall, the New England Conservatory, and the Museum of Fine Arts, to name a few). Besides museums and shopping, Huntington Avenue is also home to Northeaster University as well as what is referred to as the Longwood Medical Area, an area which is comprised of a number of medical research institutions and hospitals. With a wide array of stores, restaurants, and cultural places to visit, Huntington Avenue certainly deserves a visit.
