As small as Hanover Street is, it sure packs a punch full of excitement and deliciousness. Covering the entire length of Boston's Historical North End, Hanover Street is a Mecca for traditional and exquisite Italian food. Restaurants line the extremely popular street and people bound for buon cibo pack the street on nights and weekends. Besides the abundance of Italian bistros and cafés, Hanover Street also plays a part in the Freedom Trail. The Freedom Trail's most notable monument on Hanover Street pays homage to one of America's heroes Paul Revere with a statue of him warning his fellow Americans about the impending British attack.
